Robert Calabrese

Robert Calabrese is senior consultant of ASGMC.

With nearly a decade developing corporate leaders and leadership teams, Robert has a reputation for exceptional facilitation and coaching skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to increase personal and organizational effectiveness to achieve targeted results. He is a dynamic and motivational speaker with a passion for personal excellence and relationship management.

In his current role with A&S Global Management Consulting, Inc., Robert:
  • redesigned the Talent Review strategy for a major Wall Street firm,
  • created and facilitated corporate seminars for over 250 corporate leaders on providing feedback and mentoring to increase performance,
  • provided Executive Coaching for senior-level managers and facilitated 360-degree assessments for more than 150 business leaders,
  • created and implemented a long-term executive development curriculum for 20 executive leaders at a nationwide not-for-profit organization.
During his tenure as manager of various Learning and Development initiatives with Merrill Lynch (1996-2003), Robert:
  • developed and facilitated Talent Review among top leadership at Merrill Lynch corporate NY business units
  • facilitated assessment tools to identify development opportunities and provided follow up Executive Coaching for over 30 First Vice Presidents and Director level business leaders
  • designed and managed comprehensive sales and relationship management training for a profitable nation-wide lending business
  • managed the design and implementation of national Sales Associate training programs
Robert has an industry-wide reputation for exceptional facilitation and coaching skills. He’s a dynamic and motivational speaker whose passion for leadership development is revealed every time he speaks on Effective Communication, Coaching and Feedback, Team Building , and Managing Personal Change.

A former Catholic clergyman for 19 years (1976-1995), Robert has brought to his secular career a deep regard for the human spirit. His background as a Pastor, Director of Formation and Continuing Education, and Vocation Recruiter informs the way he inspires individuals and teams to develop, grow, and succeed.

Robert is certified to facilitate and debrief the Emotional Competency Inventory® (ECI) and Personnel Decisions International (PDI) Profiler® 360 Assessments and the MBTI®. He is a member of the Hartman Institute for Formal and Applied Axiology, and also maintains a private practice in Spiritual Direction and Formation. Robert holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and earned his Masters Degree from Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University .
